Discovery Academy — это программа развития молодежи, предоставляющая качественные образовательные возможности, которые подчеркивают сильные стороны колледжа Грин-Ривер и его партнера в области общественного образования, колледжа Хайлайн. Эта программа направлена на использование индивидуальных сильных сторон при одновременном использовании объединенных ресурсов, информационно-пропагандистского потенциала и рекламных долларов для обслуживания самой широкой сети нашего сообщества South Sound. Академия Discovery может привлечь будущих студентов на раннем и ключевом этапе развития образования и построить отношения как с отдельными людьми, так и с их сообществами на пороге послесреднего образования. Работа осуществляется на основе интегрированного и совместного подхода с другими педагогами сообщества, партнерами по сообществу, преподавателями и административными отделами. В основе того, что мы делаем и надеемся расти, лежит будущий доступ и образование, поскольку это является основным направлением.
Видение и цели
Предоставление качественного образовательного опыта учащимся дошкольного образования с целью борьбы с COVID и потерями в обучении летом, а также знакомство молодых людей с студенческой средой. Эта программа имеет целенаправленный подход к увлекательному обучению на основе проектов и увлекательной учебной программе, разработанной преподавателями и партнерами по сообществу, которые являются экспертами в своей области.

We're excited to offer an unparalleled volunteer opportunity for juniors and seniors, where you'll have the chance to hone your skills, build new ones, and make a difference in the lives of young people.
As part of our team, you'll receive high-quality training and mentorship in a variety of areas including group management, camp procedures and rules, professional communication and conflict resolution, first aid, and leadership. You'll also have the opportunity to lead hands-on activities for groups of kids ages 8-14 and take part in other camp related functions. But the benefits of this experience don't stop there!
